Witches and Wizards Theme for a Halloween Costume Party

This Halloween, which let's face it is a mere eleven weeks away, if you are planning on having a fancy dress party with a witch theme, you might want to get started with the preparations right now. That's because eleven weeks will soon pass and the night itself will be upon you before you know it!

A fancy dress party for Halloween with a witches and wizards theme is not complete without people coming dressed in all manner of wizard and witch costumes of as many different types as can be imagined. Now you might think that is going to be a little different, because a witch is, well a witch, right? Wrong!

Choice of Outfits

There are huge collections of cool costumes available to buy or hire over the Internet this year. With many sites displaying their wares to a public that seems never to be satiated by the ever growing selection of styles and designs that get more clever and more creative as we go, you are not going to be disappointed at creating a party with as many different outfits as there are people.

You don't need to even restrict it to just the main character types either. Some people will want to push the envelope a little and turn up as demons, imps and devils along with other sinister looking variations. You can set the theme and leave it to the imagination of the guests to fill the blanks.

Keeping with Tradition

Remember that the whole idea behind Halloween is to celebrate the important Wiccan date of All Hallows Eve, and that the Hollywood idea of what a witch should look like is very different from the reality.
